We have designed a full print advertising campaign for the Mykonian Hand Weaving Exhibition held in the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Mykonos during summer 2014.
The exhibition displayed local hand weaved textiles, from the late 19th and 20th century, characterised by bold colors, which seem even bolder under the Cycladic light and the pure white colour of the Mykonian architecture. Bold colour has been the principle for the development of our campaign, as well.
Using colour photography, collage techniques, and pattern illustration we have developed a series of posters, banners, notepads, postcards, placemats.
The exhibition was organised by the South Aegean Region Government and the Cultural Folklore Association of Women of Mykonos.
